Israel National Trail: Spring Trek (Sde Boker to the Dead Sea) March 15-19, 2026

Join us for 5 unforgettable days of hiking at a moderate difficulty level. We will trek through the crater desert (Makhteshim) and tackle the highlight of the desert—the famous Karbolet ridge! Enjoy breathtaking sunsets, delicious and nutritious meals around the campfire, and stunning desert blooms. Spring is a magical time in the desert, and you are invited to enjoy the journey with full comfort and great company!

  • Meeting Point: Sde Boker parking lot at 7:30 AM. From there, we will arrange a 5 km shuttle (for an additional fee) to the starting point at Ein Akev.

  • Return to Cars: The trek ends at Nahal Tamar. From there, hikers can independently share a taxi to Dimona and take a bus back to Sde Boker.

  • Return to Cars: Transportation will be provided via bus from Timna back to the Eilat Field School.
