Challenging trips

Some people just like to go, some people like more challenges and some people need both equally. Therefore, organized trips on the Israel Trail will suit them like a glove. Embarking on a two-month journey from north to south in the fall or from south to north in the spring, is not a simple challenge especially in the Israel Trail area in the south – where it is much more difficult to make the journey alone. Adventurers who love challenges in an extreme way – will make the trip alone most of the time. But those who like trips and challenges in a more controlled way – will prefer an organized trip. We are soon embarking on another organized trip with tourists from all over the world and you are welcome to join us.

Challenges you will face during the journey

Ascents – The 1000 kilometers of the Israel Trail are continuous with ascents and descents. For example, Mount Arbel, the Eilat Mountains and the ascent to Jerusalem are some of the most challenging areas during the journey. They require good fitness. Those who are not in good shape will not fail in the task, but will simply take longer to do the ascents. We therefore recommend getting in shape before you embark on a journey.

Trips and challenges

Streams – Already at the beginning of the Israel Trail route in the north, ie on the first day, it will be necessary to walk in streams. Therefore this must be taken into account. In cool weather it will be less pleasant and more challenging. In hot weather it will be much more pleasant. Be careful not to slip. It is recommended not to do this part barefoot but with appropriate sandals. That is why it is worth coming not only with mountain shoes but also with root sandals.

Outdoor accommodation – There is no doubt that accommodation in outdoor conditions is no small challenge in itself. Although this is not an issue of trips and challenges in an extreme way, but for people who are not used to it – this is the no small challenge part that they have to deal with. Therefore, you should bring a quality sleeping bag and a mattress that is thick enough to make it comfortable to sleep at night. Otherwise you will have back pain that will interfere with you continuing the journey.

Two consecutive months out of the house – some people do the trail in stages while others go on a journey of trips and sites non-stop for 2 whole months in which they abstain from normal life. We are going on an organized trip of this kind soon – join us.
