Monday 23/2

Eilat to Mt. Yehoram

Departure is at 9:00 AM, meeting at the start of the trail near the Eilat Field School.
On the first day, each participant should bring food and drinking water.

Trail length: 14.8 km
Route details: Mount Tzfachot- viewpoint overlooking four countries (Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia).
From there, we’ll continue to Gesharon Cliffs, Gesharon Ladders, Mount Yoash, and Mount Yehoram.
Difficulty level: Medium+
Night Camp: Mount Yehoram

Yehoram to Shhoret

Trail length: 12.5 km
Route details: Mount Yehoram, Ein Netafim, Netafim Stream,  walk through the Shchoret Canyon leading to the night camp.

Shhoret to Bee’r -Ora

Trail length: 18 km
Route details: Mount Amir, Ma’ale Amram, Raham Stream, a viewpoint over Atek Stream, and Be’er Ora.

Bee’r Ora to Timna

Trail length: 16.4 km
Route details: Timna Park, Mount Timna, Timna Hill.

Shaharut to Tzehor faran- Purim

Trail length: 20 km
Route details: Tiger Temple, Kisui Sands, Neot Smadar Inn.
Note: On this day, we’ll organize a 30 km shuttle from Neot Smadar Inn to the entrance of Tzehor-Faran Streams.
This section of the Israel Trail passes near a highway and military training zones.
Difficulty level: Medium+

Tzehor Faran to Barak

Trail length: 24 km
Route details: Faran Stream, Vardit Stream, and Barak Stream canyons with ladders and narrow passages.
Difficulty level: for experienced hikers

Barak to Tzukim

Trail length: 19 km
Route details:Tzofar Ascent, Ashosh Stream, Ashosh Ascent, turning east onto the green trail toward Tzokim.
Difficulty level: medium.
Night Camp: On this day, we do not stay overnight at the campsite.

Sunday 8/3

Sapir to Gev- Holit

Trail length: 20 km
Route details: Ma’ale Karkeshet, Ashboren Pools, Sedakim, Tzvira Stream, Mount Yahav.
We’ll descend into the Nekarot Stream and continue walking until reaching Gev Holit Night Camp.
Difficulty level: Medium
Night Camp: Gev Holit.

Gev-Holit to Gvanim

Trail length: 18 km
Route details: Holit Pools, Geled pools, Ma’ok Stream, Haririm Cliffs, Nekarot stream, Mount Saharonim, and Gevanim Stream.
Difficulty level: Medium

Gvanim to Mitzpe Ramon

Trail length: 20.5 km
Route details: Gevanim Stream, Ammonite Wall, Shen Ramon,  walk through the Ramon Crater, finishing with the climb up to Mitzpe Ramon.
Difficulty level: Medium
Night Camp: Mitzpe Ramon

Mitzpe Ramon to Hava stream

Length: 30 km
Details: Mitzpe Ramon, walking with a view of the crater, Gav Sedeki, Nahal Hava, Gavi Hava.
Please note that it is possible to shorten the walking day to 26 km and walk on a jeep road.

Hava Stream to Mishtahim

Length: 19.5 km
Details: Beautiful hike overlooking the Tzin Valley, Upper Ein Akev, White Plains, Serpentines.
Difficulty level: Medium.
Night camp: On this day, we will not stay at the campsite; a shuttle (at an extra cost) will be provided to Midreshet Sde Boker.

Details:  Afran stream, Gavi Afran, Hakerbolet (The Crater Edge Ridge), Oron Factories
Difficulty level: Advanced hikers

A challenging day of hiking, it's recommended to start early

Length: 14.5 km
Details:The Small crater, Ein Yorkeam, the Great Crater (HaMakhtesh HaGadol), turning northwest onto the green trail to the Mishor Yamin campsite.
Difficulty level: Medium

Mishor Yamin to Shaa’r Ashmedai

Length: 19 km
Details: heading south on the green trail until joining the Israel National Trail, then trekking north through the Great Crater, Ma'ale Akrabim (Scorpions Pass), the top of Ma'ale Ali, the Small Crater, and Ashmadai Gate.
Difficulty level: Medium
Night camp: Shaar Ashmedai.

Difficulty level: Medium
