Tips for trips on Hanukkah

Hanukkah trips are a great way to pass the time having fun even if you are not a child or young person. It’s time to go for a walk on the Israel Trail in the south. Hanukkah in the desert is a great activity that allows you to escape the rain. Chances are that during the month of December it will be rainy in the center and north. In the south it will usually be dry or less rainy. Therefore, if you do not want to travel, you are welcome to join us on a journey from the mountains of Eilat to the city with tourists from Israel and the world. Here are some general tips for Hanukkah trips.

You do not have to give up lighting candles

Whether you are embarking on a journey on the Israel Trail in the north or south, this does not mean that you should give up lighting the candles. You can always take candles and a compact menorah and celebrate in the evening. Also, in many places the trail passes through villages and mountains so you can enter a synagogue or any other place where candles are lit in public. It can be very nice. On the way you will most likely be honored with donuts.

Take a walk on Hanukkah

Less crowded in nature

On holidays when there is a sabbatical, it is harder and less pleasant to walk because a lot of people do it and this creates overcrowding in some places. But if you decide to take a trip to Hanukkah in the desert, you will find that you will not find many people there. There is no sabbatical for parents on this holiday but only for children so the places will be much less crowded. It’s time to take a break from work and go for a walk with the kids in nature.

Day trips on the Israel Trail

Not everyone likes or is able to hike for consecutive days on the Israel Trail route. This is a challenging matter that requires planning and carrying heavy weight on the back. If you love nature but do not like to carry things and spend the night outside the house, take the opportunity to walk on sections of the trail during the holiday in places in the center, north or south. You can do segments of a few hours and come back. Quite a few people go for a walk in certain places and suddenly discover that they have reached the Israel Trail. This is a very pleasant surprise. The hike on the trail is recommended not only for holidays but also on weekends. The workload makes it difficult for everyone, so it is worth ventilating from time to time.
